Technology of FPC profile and hole machining

The shape is simple and the requirement of accuracy is not too high. The substrate complex shapes for especially high precision, if using a pair of mold processing efficiency does not meet the requirements of the situation, can be divided into several steps of processing FPC, plug parts of specific examples such as insertion in a narrow pitch connector and high density mounting element positioning hole.

FPC guide hole

Also called positioning hole, the processing of the general hole is an independent process, but there must be positioning between the line and the graphics guide hole. The automatic process uses the CCD camera to directly identify the positioning mark for positioning, but this equipment costs high, the scope of application is limited, and generally does not use. The most widely used method is to drill the positioning hole on the basis of the positioning mark on the flexible copper foil. This is not a new technology, but it can significantly improve the accuracy and production efficiency.

In order to improve the punching precision, the positioning hole is processed by punching method with high precision and less debris.

FPC punching

Punching is the use of prepared special mold in the hydraulic press or crank punch holes and contour processing. Now the mold is diverse, and other processes sometimes use the mold.

FPC milling machining

Milling processing time is in seconds, very short, low cost. Mold making not only high prices and have a certain period, it is difficult to adapt to the change and trial design dispatches. CNC milling machining CNC data, if provided with the CAD data, you can do homework immediately. The milling time of each workpiece directly affects the processing cost, the time is long, the processing cost is also high, so the unified adjustment processing is suitable for the product with high price or less or short trial production time.
